Covid-19: We remain operational and available for all patients with dedicated aircraft for coronavirus
What we stand for
We are responsible and reliable
We assume responsibility for each patient we carry and each air ambulance we deploy: responsibility for the life that has been entrusted to us. We also want patients’ relatives to believe they can trust us and to feel that they have a reliable partner by their side in hard times. Medical Air Ambulance also takes responsibility for our employees and their families, for our business partners, and for the environment.
In our profession, reliability and the ability to think clearly in emergency situations are paramount. We adhere to ISO 9001 standards.
Honesty and integrity
We really believe that ‘honesty is the best policy’. We know that many of our clients are facing emotionally challenging situations and we pride ourselves on our honest communication, without whitewashing anything or making promises we can’t keep. We consider saying ‘No’ on behalf of a patient when appropriate to be a strength, not a sign of weakness. We follow these rules of communication:
- We keep our word.
- We communicate openly and honestly.
- We have transparent pricing policies – no small print, no concealed costs.
- We only offer services we would recommend to our relatives in similar situations.
Equality and diversity
We believe that every patient deserves the best possible medical treatment, and we work as hard as we can to achieve this for all our patients, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, political convictions or sex.
We treat our employees in the same way, and actively try to foster diversity in our company. We believe that each member of our international team can learn and benefit from their colleagues’ life experience and background. Our staff members’ wide range of experience helps us to carry out each ambulance flight with the patient’s best interests in mind, regardless of which country or continent we are operating in.
